Online Application Session requirements

The online application will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.

Your session will time out after 30 minutes of inactivity. If your session times out before you reach the end of the application, all of your work will be lost.

You cannot save any work in progress

Do not use the internet browser buttons as doing so will exit the application form and you will lose all data that you have entered.

Only use the Next and Back buttons to navigate within the application. These are visible at the bottom of each page of the application form

Information Required for Professional Development and Professional Experience Questions

The online application requires information about your professional development and experience. Some of the questions may require some thought or additional information. These include:

• Specialized training/experience you may have in the following areas:
  1. Mental Health Issues
  2. Cultural Issues
  3. Substance Abuse
  4. Sexual Abuse/Trauma
  5. Domestic Violence
  6. Dispute Resolution
  7. Other Relevant Areas
• The continuing education programs that you have attended in the past two (2) years.
• Courses that you have taught or formal presentations that you have made in the past five (5) years that may be relevant to the services to be performed as an OCL Panel Member.
• Books or articles which you have written in the past five (5) years that may be relevant to the services to be performed as an OCL Panel Member.

Information Required for Community or Civic Activities Questions

The online application requires information about your community involvement and experience. Some of the questions may require additional information. These include:

• Description of your professional/extracurricular/personal work with children and youth
• When specifically considering the needs of children and youth in your local community, what have you observed to be the most significant service gaps?
• Professional associations with which you are involved

Many of the questions contained in the application do require thought and the collection of information. Therefore, we suggested you review the sample Legal application questions document which will allow you to write your answers in advance. You will then be able to copy and paste your responses directly into the application form.
